Karl Lagerfeld’s godson Hudson Kroenig is in good company in the latest campaign for Chanel, posed with style stars Cara Delevingne and Pharrell Williams and looking the epitome of high fashion. The ads, shot by Karl himself, feature pieces from the French brand’s Sound of Music-inspired 2015 pre-fall Paris-Salzburg collection.
Cara shows off her supermodel credentials in high fashion ensembles from oversized embellished coats to knee-high boots and knitted socks, while Pharrell, who is due to pick up the Fashion Icon award at this year’s CFDA Fashion Awards, is effortlessly cool in lace up green boots, cable knit jumpers and camel trousers. Little Hudson holds his own next to the two superstars, as he models kidswear pieces including printed jumpers and navy blue coats.
It’s not the first time that Cara and Pharrell have joined forces for Chanel. Not only did they star in the brand’s short film Reincarnation, but they took to the stage during the Paris-Salzburg 2014/15 Métiers d’art collection show in New York in April, performing duet CC the World which Pharrell had written specifically for the film.
Meanwhile, little Hudson is no stranger to posing for Chanel. Not only has he already starred in countless campaigns for the brand alongside supermodels such as Joan Smalls, but he has closed various Chanel catwalk shows walking hand-in-hand with his style maestro godfather and Cara.
Having all worked together before, it was clearly a fun day of catching up as well as working for the stars, with Cara giving fans a sneak peek behind-the-scenes of the shoot of the trio posing with Karl, all smiling and goofing around.
“Behind the scenes of the new @chanelofficial campaign shoot @i_am_other,” she captioned the sweet image.
