Emerging from the Lindo Wing on Saturday (May 2) with Princess Charlotte in her arms, all eyes were on the Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, who dazzled fans in an elegant, cream-and-yellow Jenny Packham dress. However, Kate wasn't the only A-lister winning fashion accolades over the weekend.
Across the pond, Amal Clooney was turning heads in New York City, where she stepped out to meet several members of her family for a handful of stylish outings.
The human rights lawyer was spotted with her parents, Ramzi and Baria Alamuddin, as well as her lookalike sister, Tala, in New York’s East Village on Friday (May 1), wearing an ethereal white dress teamed with matching high-heeled sandals and a brown suede jacket.
The very next day – Princess Charlotte's birthday – Amal, 37, channeled the 1970s in a pair of bell-bottomed blue jeans and a pale-pink sweater that showed off her slender frame.
The brunette beauty had invited her family to visit husband George Clooney on the set of his new film, Money Monster. The actor was dressed down for the daytime outing, wearing faded blue jeans and a grey t-shirt with his tequila company's logo, Casamigos, emblazoned across the front.
The apple doesn't fall far from the tree when it comes to the Alamuddins' sense of style. Amal’s mom, former newspaper editor Baria, was elegant in a lime-green pantsuit teamed with a string of pearls, leopard-print heels and tortoiseshell sunglasses, while Tala – who held hands with her handsome boyfriend, Nico – looked equally chic in a pair of black overalls and a lacy white top.
Indeed, George Clooney's sister-in-law has been wowing fans all week during her Manhattan visit. A few days earlier, she rocked an on-trend black leather fringed miniskirt by Isabel Marant teamed with a black top and leather jacket.
It comes as no surprise that Amal’s stylish sibling fits right in with the fashionable New Yorker crowd – while nowadays she lives in Singapore with her family and their dog, Tala previously lived in the bustling American city.
