Photo shoots are nothing new for Beyoncé, but one in particular has sparked speculation recently that the style-savvy singer will be fronting the next campaign for Givenchy. Wearing a head-to-toe ensemble by the brand, the 33-year-old was snapped posing for cameras on a Brooklyn rooftop alongside Givenchy’s creative director, Riccardo Tisci, with whom she chatted between shots.
Only a few days before, Beyoncé was championing the French fashion house at the 2015 Met Ball. Posing with rapper husband Jay Z, Beyoncé topped best-dressed lists around the world as she showed off her incredible figure in a dazzling sheer gown with bejewelled embellishment.
This marks the fourth year in a row that the Crazy in Love singer has chosen to wear Givenchy for the glitzy event. Although there has been no confirmation that she will be the brand’s new ambassador, there is no doubt that Beyoncé already shares a close relationship with Givenchy, and Riccardo.
It wasn’t just her gown that had heads turning at the Met Ball – jaws dropped at Beyoncé’s enviably toned figure and world-famous curves. The singer has since revealed the secret behind her slender body, admitting she has been sticking to vegan diet the 22 Day Revolution diet, created by Marco Borges.
“The truth is that if a Houston-born foodie like me can do it, you can too,” the singer wrote in the foreword of the nutritionist’s new book which explains the diet. “You just need to try it for 22 days.”
The diet, favoured by other stars including Jennifer Lopez, is plant-based with a mixture of whole foods, and bans meat, eggs, dairy, alcohol or processed foods. Beyoncé first started the regime in November 2013, with rapper husband Jay Z also taking part. Since then, the Halo singer claims to have lost 65lbs, noting that she is in the ‘best shape’ of her life.
“All the meals are incredibly unique and delicious,” Marco told HELLO! “It would be difficult to pick just one but some of our [Beyoncé and Jay Z] favorites include the hearty breakfast granola, home-style split-pea and vegetable soup, Spanish style paella and gluten-free pesto pasta.”
