From Beyoncé's iconic video-screen performance of "Run The World (Girls)" to Michael Jackson's hologram resurrection singing "Slave to the Rhythm," the annual Billboard Music Awards are always full of surprises - both on an off the red carpet. Sunday night (May 17), stars like Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Taylor Swift and Iggy Azalea stepped out in style, parading a series of eye-catching ensembles before launching into show-stealing performances.
Jennifer is renowned for rocking the red carpet in racy and show-stopping outfits, and the 45-year-old made no exception for the Billboards. The "Jenny from the Block"singer was as sultry as ever as she showed off her enviably toned abs and slender figure in a sheer Charbel Zoe Couture gown with a silver-and-white pattern.
The mother of two was the epitome of glamour with smokey eye makeup and her blonde tresses worn down in tousled waves, completing her look with statement rings and a silver box clutch bag. She was later spotted sitting next to former beau Casper Smart, with whom she has stayed good friends.
It's been an exciting few months for Jennifer, who announced last week that she will be hosting her own residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, beginning in January 2016. "So excited!!! This is going to be the show I've always dreamed of creating," she wrote on Instagram, alongside an image of the show poster. "Tickets on sale Saturday, May 16. #JLoVegas."

The "On The Floor"singer also reiterated her excitement in a statement, giving fans a hint of what they could expect from what will no doubt be a breathtaking performance.
"I've been preparing for this moment my entire life," she wrote. "The show is going to be a multifaceted high energy Jenny from the Block party, mixing all aspects of what my fans and I love – dance, hip hop, Latin and pop. It's going to be the show I've always dreamt of creating."
Wowing at the Billboard Awards, Jennifer proved she can hold her own in the style stakes in the ranks of Nevada's biggest performers – she was joined by Britney Spears and Mariah Carey on the red carpet, both of whom have had residences in Las Vegas.
This marked a rare red-carpet appearance for Britney, who has kept a relatively low profile in recent years. The mother of two, who was joined by boyfriend Charlie Ebersol for the evening, dazzled for the glitzy event, arriving in an elegant cream textured gown with long sleeves. She later floored the audience as she took to the stage with Iggy Azalea for an exclusive performance of the duo's new single, "Pretty Girls."
