Victoria Beckham was one of many stars who stepped out in their most fashionable frocks for the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Awards on Monday night (June 1). Though the 41-year-old wasn’t up for an award, Victoria stole the show in a sleek, floor-length gown from her collection.
The former Spice Girl showcased her incredible figure in the chic dress, which featured a loose-fitting bodice with a daring plunging neckline. Never one to shy away from making a sartorial statement, Victoria accessorised her look with multiple oversized gold necklaces from jeweller Louisa Brown, completing the look with a sparkling ring.
Her beauty look was equally as glamorous, with the British icon rocking a red carpet classic – the smokey eye. Her glossy brown locks were tied back into a dishevelled low ponytail full of volume, swept to the side.
Victoria was not the only star to dazzle in a black outfit for the glamorous ceremony. Fashion’s power couple Kim Kardashian and Kanye West also made quite the impression with their effortlessly cool looks, as they made their first official appearance since announcing that Kim is expecting their second child.
Meanwhile Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen not only took home the award for Womenswear Designer of the Year for their label The Row, but the stylish sisters won plaudits for their laidback yet glamorous ensembles – both sisters stuck to their signature all-black looks, both opting for flats instead of heels.
However, it wasn’t all about black – red was another popular colour of choice. Former Victoria’s Secret angel Karlie Klosswas the epitome of elegance in a sleek gown with red polka dots, complementing her look with a slick of red lipstick. Meanwhile, actress Diane Kruger was on fashionable form in a sequinned red strapless dress with black panel detailing.
