The Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton isn't the only fashion plate to come out of the Middleton family! Looking every inch the elegant aunt in a gorgeous cream ensemble at Princess Charlotte's christening on Sunday (July 5), Kate's sister Pippa Middleton further cemented her style-star status.
The 31-year-old was the perfect lady in a bespoke, cream Emilia Wickstead coatdress, which featured pocket detailing and a high neck, accessorising with a pair of patent nude stilettos. To complete her look, Pippa chose an eye-catching custom-made straw cocktail hat from Jane Taylor Millinery with organdy and nude feather detail.
"Pippa Middleton is the epitome of elegance and style," read a statement from Jane. "And I could not be more honoured to see her wearing one of my designs so beautifully today at such a significant royal occasion."
Pippa's outfit complemented her sister's perfectly, with the stylish siblings stepping out in similar looks. The Duchess also chose a cream coatdress for the momentous occasion, from one of her favourite labels, Alexander McQueen. Like Pippa, the mother-of-two turned to milliner Jane Taylor to create her dazzling hat which featured lace and floral detailing.
It's not the first time that Pippa has been spotted in a cream coat for a family event – back in 2013 she chose an elegant wool trapeze number by couturier Suzannah Crabb for Prince George's christening, which featured a pink blush trim and oyster silk lining.
She accessorised with a hand-dyed and beaded corsage pillbox hat in blush by British milliner Edwina Ibbotson, shoes by Emmy and a blush pink clutch bag. The items were all also purchased from Suzannah's boutique.
Kate's stylish sibling was no doubt was enjoying some quality time with her family at Charlotte's christening – the avid sportswoman has just returned from Kenya, Africa, where she completed the Safaricom marathon, running over 26 miles to rasie money for the conservation charity Tusk Trust, of which Prince William is a patron.
