Despite conquering the spot and fashion worlds, David Beckham is making his foray into unchartered territory in a new film for unisex brand Belstaff. The handsome footballer had fans in a frenzy this weekend as the 40-year-old unveiled the short, titled Outlaws.

The father-of-four proudly shared the short clip, filmed on location in Mexico, with his 52 million Facebook followers. “Here is the trailer for the amazing film we have made with Belstaff," he wrote. “Sign up at www.belstaff.com to be the first to see the film on September 22nd! #Outlaws.”
Fans immediately noted that in the film, which was produced by Liv Tyler, David appears to channel Hollywood legend James Dean, donning a leather biker jacket and smouldering for the camera as he takes to the road on a motorbike.
Although David is no stranger to the camera – he has already featured in video adverts for brands including H&M, this marks the first time he has starred in a fashion film. The British icon opened up about working on the film, which also stars Harvey Keital, Cathy Moriarty and Katherine Waterston, and revealed it is something he “will never forget”.
“I always love to challenge myself,” he said in a statement. “Filming Outlaws in the Mexican desert with Belstaff and the Legs team, not to mention working alongside Harvey, Cathy, and Katherine, was an adventure I will never forget.”
It seems fitting that David has embarked on this new venture with Belstaff – he already shares a close relationship with the brand, and even unveiled a capsule collection of leather jackets with the label last year.
“I’ve had a long relationship with Belstaff, and a successful one, which I've enjoyed,” he told Vogue, speaking about Outlaws. “They came to me with the idea to do a short film and the idea of working wth Harvey and Katherine – it was a given that we were going to do this.”
