Fancy formalwear and amped-up street style took the reins this week as stars far and wide stepped out in seriously covetable looks.
Actress Jordana Brewster found inspiration from one of our favourite high-street retailers, Madewell. The Furious 7 star opted for the J Crew offshoot's casual patterned jumpsuit with subtle pleating for a No Kids Hungry breakfast event in Beverly Hills.
Teen Wolf ’s Crystal Reed also embraced the jumpsuit for the premiere of The Gift in Sydney, Australia. The 30-year-old starlet worked the red carpet in a wide-leg maroon coloured Bec and Bridge design with a crossover bodice and silk tie.
Black also had a moment this week as celebs like tennis champ Maria Sharapova and Laverne Cox made appearances in top-to-bottom noir.
Maria attended the American Express Rally on the River in a high-neck lace confection by formalwear pro Max Mara, which she flawlessly styled with relaxed trousers and t-strap heels. Laverne Cox took to the annual TimesTalks panel in NYC in a sleeveless turtleneck and high-waisted pencil skirt, and added some brightness to her ensemble in the form of cherry suede pumps and a gorgeous burgundy lip. Lake Bell also took a walk on the dark side at the No Escape screening in New York by complementing her asymmetrically-cut Marni skirt with a long-sleeve crop top and caged Louboutin sandals.
