The Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, slipped into her second show-stopping look on Wednesday (Oct. 21) for additional engagements with China's first couple. The brunette beauty looked radiant in a $6,175 Dolce & Gabbana dress, which is currently available on net-a-porter.com.
Standing together in state and style, Kate and husband Prince William coordinated their looks as he selected a tie in the same colour to meet up with China's president Xi Jinping and his wife Madame Peng at Lancaster House.

The designer dress is described on the Net-A-Porter website as "a sophisticated update on the label's signature lace styles. It comes with a silk-blend slip for coverage, but is sheer through the sleeves to reveal a hint of skin."
Kate paired the beautiful dress with a matching clutch and pumps, both in suede.
The couple were meeting up with the Chinese president and his wife to attend the "Creative Collaborations" exhibition. The reunion was to celebrate the cultural ties – both existing and future – between the UK and China.
The colour of her dress was a perfect nod to her guests' home country. Red is not only the colour of China's flag but an important colour in their culture, symbolising good fortune and joy. It is found everywhere during Chinese New Year and other holidays and family gatherings.
