With Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week in full swing and a bevy of fashionable events on the celebrity social calendar, stylish staples like Diane Kruger and Gwyneth Paltrow looked to the season for a palette this week. From fashion shows to parties, there were ample outlets to showcase just how versatile winter whites can be.
Is there anyone as consistently chic as Diane? The actress turned up at the Sidaction Gala Dinner in Paris wearing a mini dress that's not for the fashionably faint of heart, but managed to make the ruffle-hemmed Giambattista Valli number with it's extreme A-line back and sequinned floral details a dream piece for every fashion lover's closet. Aside from her red lips, the 39-year-old kept the details clean, with her auburn locks in loose waves, simple strappy black heels and a grey box clutch.
Also in the City of Lights, Gwyneth had a holiday glow arriving fresh off stay at a Mexican villa with boyfriend Brad Falchuk and her kids. Arriving at the Chanel Haute Couture show in one of the brand's signature knits, the 42-year-old's skirt suit (straight off the spring 2016 runway!) featured a grey-and-white geometric pattern and oversized gem buttons. Black pumps with sky-high silver heels and sleek, straight locks were the finishing touches.
Over at the Dior show, Lady Kitty Spencer was living the stuff of fairytales. Dressed head-to-toe in a creamy white ensemble by the brand, Princess Diana's 25-year-old niece was quite at home mingling front row with actress Noomi Rapace. Dior shades protecting her eyes from the sun and a little Lady Dior bag in hand, Lady Kitty was the picture of youthful elegance in a floor-length coat with matching jumpsuit.
Who else was cool as the Canadian snow this week? Actress Jaime King channeled a Pink Lady with her long pencil skirt and neck tie, French 'it' girl Clémence Poésy did laid-back luxe at Chanel, Olivia Palermo gave white leather pants some fringe benefits, Kate Bosworth took embellishments to the next level and Nicole Richie gave her signature '70s look a Sundance vibe.
