How Duchess Kate breathes new life into recycled outfits

Kate got festive in a red Alexander McQueen coat at Cardiff Castle on Dec. 8, 2020 during her royal train tour with Prince William.
She wore the piece with a tartan scarf and matching midi skirt by Emilia Wickstead.
The duchess had recently worn the tailored topper to launch her Hold Still photography exhibition in London that October. For that appearance, she paired it with a handbag from Grace Han and an Amaia floral mask.

On Dec. 7, 2020, Kate recycled another piece during the royal train tour. When the couple arrived in Manchester, she brought out her Hobbs navy coat.
It was paired with wide-leg trousers, a Brora Cashmere Fair Isle sweater and an Amaia face mask.

Kate first wore the bespoke coat to the Princess Ingrid Alexandra Sculpture Park in Oslo in 2018 during her royal tour of Sweden and Norway with William.

On Dec. 6, 2020, Kate began the royal train tour in London wearing a green Alexander McQueen coat with York Scarves Maple Leaf Tartan Scarf, Amaia face mask and Grace Han bag.
Her cold weather accessories were a change of pace from the last time she donned the coat for a walkabout in Bradford in January of that year.
For that occasion, the mom-of-three finished off her look with an Aspinal of London top-handle bag and Gianvito Rossi pumps.

She stepped out in the All the Falling Stars Gold Disc Circle Earrings and Personalised Gold Three Layered Disc Necklace at the University of Derby on Oct. 6.
It was an autumnal look thanks to her Massimo Dutti soft blue sweater and belted trousers.
The ensemble was in contrast to the summery one she wore at Battersea Park on Sept. 22.
For that royal engagement, Kate wore the personalized All the Falling Stars charm necklace with pink Marks & Spencer trousers and a white T-shirt.

Suede pumps seem to be her go-to but last year she opted for knee-high suede boots on a particularly rainy day.
