Week’s best celebrity style: Beyoncé, Coco Rocha, Gabrielle Union and more
By Ava Baccari
Not one to shy away from the spotlight, Beyoncé dazzled at the CFDA Fashion Awards in a sequin-striped suit from the Givenchy Fall 2015 Couture collection, topped with a seriously wide-brimmed black hat (straight from her "Formation" video and tour!). The fabulous two-piece may have been a stylish nod to the late artist Prince, but her inimitable swagger was all Queen Bey.
Gabrielle Union also got the memo to stick to a sleek black-and-white dress code, courtesy of the Bring it On actress's geometric, ombré Lela Rose gown - which faded into, well, fifty shades of grey. She elevated the look with a high ponytail to perfectly display the elaborate neckline.
Leave it to Canadian supermodel Coco Rocha to take the mod look one step further! The stylish mom donned a crisp white cape-like blazer from her CO+CO line with sharp black trousers and sandals for the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic (we raise a glass of bubbly to her très chic look!)

Rounding out the mod trend were Jessica Chastain (in sparkly Prabal Gurung), Riley Keough (in Proenza Schouler), Portia de Rossi (in Antonio Berardi) and Lea Michele (in J. Mendel). Modern Family’s Sarah Hyland emanated serious Parisian vibes in a black Self-Portrait jumpsuit with lace detailing and a crisp white collar. Her brilliant pairing of the wide-legged trousers with pointy white heels – and a bright red lip as the only pop of colour – is a serious style lesson for anyone looking to channel Brigitte Bardot à la the 1960s. Consider this your master class. Bonne chance!
