Queen Letizia has once again championed one of her favourite Spanish high street brands for an outing in Madrid on Tuesday (July 5). Trading the world-class designers to whom she has access on any given day, the Spanish monarch slipped into a summer chic floral dress by Zara as she joined husband King Felipe VI to present the Iberdrola 2016 Scholarships in Madrid.
The chiffon over-the-knee design features long sleeves and adelicate lily print, and retails for just $85 at the Spanish high streetstore – although it has sadly sold out.
Queen Letizia accessorised with a mix of high street andhigh end accessories, including a pair of Zara drop earrings, a pink AdolfoDominguez clutch bag and Prada nude court shoes.
It is not the first time Queen Letizia has worn Zaradesigns; she recently wore a pair of $22 gem-encrusted earrings from thestore on another engagement in Madrid.
However the 43-year-old is more likely to be seen in smarttailoring and elegant dresses from designers including Joseph Altuzzara, HugoBoss and Prada.
The secret to her often flawless style is her work withcouturier Felipe Varela, who she has worked with ever since she joined theSpanish royal family.
Queen Letizia is known as one of the most fashion-forwardroyals, and is often compared to the Duchess of Cambridge due to her penchantfor finding new ways to style some of her favourite designer looks, mixed withunexpected pieces from the high street.
