Kate wears poppy-print Alexander McQueen at Buckingham Palace banquet

The Duchess of Cambridge, nee Kate Middleton, debuted another Alexander McQueen creation for a special athlete banquet at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday (Oct. 18). Kate stepped out in a floor-length gown featuring a vibrant poppy print to meet with British Olympians and Paralympians who won medals at the Rio Olympics.

The Royal Family was well represented at Tuesday's event, with the Queen, Princes William and Harry, Princess Anne and Prince Andrew joining Kate for the festivities.

It's been a stylish October for the duchess, who has showcased a variety of new pieces from her wardrobe over the past few weeks of engagements. In fact, the queen of recycling hasn't worn any of her go-to dresses since she toured Canada in late September.

Kate kicked off the month in a floral Kate Spade design to attend World Health Day events on Oct. 10. The following day, the royal travelled to the Netherlands for her first solo visit abroad. Kate wore a baby blue Catherine Walker skirt suit as she carried out a day of engagements in and around The Hague. She rounded out the week in a checked coat by Erdem on a visit to Manchester with her husband Prince William.
