The Duchess of Cambridge stepped out for the second time of the week, this time on Wednesday afternoon, wearing a blue suit blazer by Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini, black jeans and boots, and underneath her blazer was a black turtle-neck jumper. She showcased her glossy new, shoulder-length haircut and healthy pregnancy glow. Her look epitomized smart/casual and concealed her slight baby bump.
The 35-year-old mother of two, who is expecting her third child with Prince William, arrived at the iconic West Ham Stadium, (formerly the Olympic stadium) for a graduation ceremony, for over 150 sport coach apprentices, who have graduated from the royals' own mentoring programme. Duchess Kate was accompanied by her husband Prince William for this meet-and greet, and looked jovial for the occasion as she stopped to speak to the public.
The Duchess of Cambridge has actually worn this suit before by the esteemed designer, but in a ravishing burgundy shade, back in February of this year. It’s the label’s double breasted design and is seen as an iconic piece in the brands collection. Kate clearly loves the design, making sure she has it in different shades. It features a bold lapel and statement gold buttons, which add interest to the classic shape and cut. The turtle neck jumper was a great, comfortable, easy-to-wear item for her, and enabled her to move freely whilst talking and liaising with others. The jacket was a slightly different choice for Duchess Kate, which is worlds away from her floral and lace designs she has been wearing of late. She appeared to leave her accessories at home, sporting simple earrings and of course her engagement and wedding rings.
This is the second unannounced appearance from Duchess Kate; she was also seen at Paddington station with her husband Prince William and brother-in law-Prince Harry on Monday afternoon, wearing a pretty pink embossed dress from Orla Kiehly. Kate seems to be alternating between pink and blue; she also wore a blue lace Temperely dress on October 10 at an event to mark World Mental Health day.
