It's official: Nicki Minaj is the new face of H&M's 2017 holiday campaign! The "Super Bass" singer made the exciting announcement of her partnership with the Swedish retailer back in May, when she stepped out on the Met Gala red carpet in a custom-made H&M gown. Showing off her killer curves in the cascading kimono-style dress, which was belted and left open over what looked like black hotpants, she told reporters she was working on a "special collaboration" and a capsule collection with the store.
She took to Instagram Oct 31 to officially share the news. "All new @hm Holiday Campaign shot in Scotland. Stay tuned. #HM," she posted on Instagram next to a still of her swinging on a fairground ride wearing a frothy white organza dress with gold beading. H&M's official social media accounts also shared the campaign shot, captioning it: "They say a picture says more than a 1000 words, but let's say it out loud, too: @nickiminaj is one of the stars in our upcoming holiday campaign! #HM."
Nicki, who signed to Wilhelmina Models earlier this year, already has a string of modelling gigs under her belt, fronting imagery for the likes of Roberto Cavalliand MAC Cosmetics. The 34-year-old also previously designed a range of affordable clothing and accessories for U.S. chain store Kmart, created lipsticks for MAC and brought out her own perfumes.
