Meghan Markle was a sartorial force once again on an outing in Cardiff on Thursday afternoon (Jan. 18). The former Suits actress gave a lesson in stylish winter dressing, and royal watchers went particularly wild for her stunning forest-green handbag. The timeless piece comes from British leather goods company DeMellier and costs $510.
DeMellier London founder Mireia Llusia-Lindh told HELLO! Online: "We are truly honoured that Meghan is wearing one of our bags, she is a fantastic role model to women all over the world and a great addition to the Royal family." The vibrant colour was no doubt a nod to the Welsh flag.
She styled her handbag with a smart black jacket by Stella McCartney and a matching scarf, while wearing trousers by Welsh brand Hieut Denim, which costs $300, and a pair of black velvet heeled boots. Meghan, 36, wore her long brunette hair once again in an updo. Her makeup was typically flawless, featuring neutral brown eyeshadow, dark mascara and glossy nude lips. Once inside the castle, Meghan took off her coat and unveiled her wool off-the-shoulder jacket by Theory.
Prince Harry's fiancée has fast become a fashion powerhouse following the news of her engagement, with many of her chosen items becoming instant sell-outs. Meghan caused a sensation online when she visited Brixton on 9 January; the $80 knit jumper she wore from British high street chain Marks & Spencer not only became a sell-out, but was selling for four times the amount on EBay. On Christmas Day, her Chloe 'Pixie' bag flew off the shelves, and the burgundy Strathberry handbag she wore when she visited Nottingham resulted in the website crashing.
