Duchess Kate dazzles in blue lace dress for trip to Place2Be

The Duchess of Cambridge had much to celebrate on Wednesday (Mar. 7)! After working as a patron for children’s mental health charity Place2Be for many years, the royal helped open its brand-new headquarters. During the grand opening, Kate, dazzling in a blue lace Seraphine dress, graciously met with school leaders, students and counsellors, who waited for her as she arrived.

The mother of two, who’s due to welcome her third child in April, was a blue beauty in a lace Seraphine dress. Known to elegantly recycle past outfits, Kate actually wore this beautiful number while on royal tour with Prince William in Norway this past February. The 36-year-old wore minimal jewelry, a natural makeup look showing off her beauty and a stunning voluminous hair look.

While her jewelry was minimal, it was her choice of jewels the day before that really got royal fashion watchers talking. She glittered in a tanzanite necklace, a similar design that Princess Diana wore in 80s. The stunning pendant matches her engagement ring, which belonged to her late mother-in-law.

Despite being so close to her due date, the Duchess isn’t slowing down! The active royal paid a visit to Oxford on Tuesday (Mar. 5) to chat with schoolchildren at Pegasus Primary school, where she learned about the charity Family Links, a program that gives emotional support to children. For the engagement, Kate looked sophisticated in a cream coat by maternity brand Jojo Maman Bebe, paired with brown heels and a classic clutch.
