Meghan Markle is the queen of accessorizing, and appears to have given a nod to her recent baptism. The royal-to-wear – who was reportedly baptized in a “secret ceremony” earlier this week – glittered in a stunning bracelet that features a cross. The timeless piece of jewelry was spotted by her eagle-eyed fans during Meghan and Prince Harry’s visit to Birmingham on Thursday (March 8). It may well be another dazzling creation by one of her most-worn – and Canadian! – brands Birks.
Her new jewels appear to be part of Birks’ Rosée du Matin collection, and boasts the brand’s signature logo but cannot be found on their website. Because of this, many believe it was created by Birks just for the former actress! Along with her cross bracelet – which may have been a gift from Harry – she also donned an 18kt white gold horizontal bar bracelet which retails for $1,190 from the new range.
Meghan has excellent taste when it comes to jewelry, and has a big collection of her favourite Birks designs. When she visited Edinburgh last month, the Suits alum showed off two gorgeous Birks rings that totaled a whopping $10,310 – the 18kt rose gold and diamond Snowflake ring and 18kt yellow gold and diamond Splash ring, retailing for $7,999 and $2,310 respectively.
Meghan's visit to the Midlands this week comes just days after she was reportedly baptized and confirmed. According to the Daily Mail's Richard Kay, the future royal officially joined the Church of England at a secret service conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury. Prince Harry, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall are believed to have attended the intimate ceremony.
