Jessica Mulroney has been one of Meghan Markle's best friends since they met when the actress moved to Toronto to play Rachel Zane on Suits. And with her stylist credentials, it's only fitting that the 38-year-old pulled out all the sartorial stops to help her close friend ring in her wedding day with Prince Harry on May 19 at Windsor Castle. After stunning in a blue dress by Montreal label Di Carlo Couture dress to help wrangle the little bridesmaids and page boys, the Canadian glittered her way to Meghan's reception in a glitzy gold number. And it seems that Jessica gave us a sneak peek of the Naeem Khan creation just last month from a dressing room at The Room at Hudson's Bay in Toronto.
While the world was eagerly guessing designers and awaiting even the slightest hint at Meghan's wedding gown, Jessica's Instagram story flew under the radar! In April, the stylist posted on her Instagram story a photo wearing gilded number, which featured a cowl hemline on the back, showing off her toned back. The photo read, "Love playing dress up @hbtheroom with @jennabitovenaumovich".
The ensemble was revealed right after Meghan and Harry's beautiful St. George's Chapel ceremony came to a close and was sealed with a kiss! The mother of three's hair stylist and makeup artist, Rachel Renna, posted videos of her gorgeous outfit on her Instagram story, writing: "Have a great night @jessicamulroney". Her clothing stylist, Jenna Bitove Naumovich, shared a glamorous video of her client walking down a set of stairs. She wrote, "All that glitters is GOLD✨✨✨ Literally! The beyond gorgeous @jessicamulroney in a specialty ordered @neaamkhan gown from @hbtheroom@hudsonsbay So happy to have worked with you on this special look for the Royal Wedding! You’re golden #royalwedding".
Fashion aside, the royal wedding was a family affair for the Mulroneys! Sided by her husband, Ben Mulroney, and their adorable kids – Ivy, 4, and seven-year-old twins Brian and John – the family of five headed to Windsor for the big day. Their twins rode with the Duchess of Sussex to the steps of St. George's Chapel and helped carry her long train as she entered the historical building. Ivy, along with Harry's niece and nephew Princess Charlotte and Prince George, was one of the cutest bridesmaids ever.
