Off to the races! Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie were back at it again for the 2018 Royal Ascot on June 19. Easily the most prestigious British sporting event of the year, the annual thoroughbred horse racing extravaganza brings out the Royal Family's best fashion – and these sisters always put their best fashion feet forward.
Princess Eugenie, who’s set to marry Jack Brooksbank at Windsor Castle in October, wowed the crowd in a gorgeous Osmon robe dress, paired with a simple yet statement-making hat by Emily London featuring a wide brim and dangling tassel. The very pale blue ensemble almost has a kimono quality to it, as seen in the wrap-style neckline and flared sleeves that hit just above her elbows. On to the accessories, the bride-to-be chose a pair of Valentino heels to accompany her M2 Malletier bag, styling her hair beautifully and keeping her makeup simple and sophisticated.
Her sister, on the other hand, amped up the colour a touch more with a figure-flattering baby blue dress by Claire Mischevani and matching fascinator by Juliette Botterill. The long-sleeved look featured tasteful accentuated shoulders and a pleat running down the front. Keeping in line with her younger sister, the 29-year-old kept her red hair down and makeup to a minimum, accessorizing with nude heels by Kurt Geiger and a clutch.
The British princesses have been quickly making names for themselves in the fashion world, with Beatrice having recently made a stunning appearance at the annual Met Gala. The royal took to the red carpet in dreamy purple perfection, with an empire waist and a beautiful gold headpiece. Her 28-year-old sister made waves at Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s royal wedding in her blue Jackie O-inspired dress and white pillbox hat - where she carried the same stylish purse she wore to Ascot.
