The Duchess of Cambridge made her second appearance at Wimbledon this weekend on Sunday (July 15), trading Saturday’s seatmate Meghan Markle for her husband, Prince William. Breaking her maternity leave for the sunny appearance, the patron of the All England Lawn Tennis club was hard to miss in her bright yellow Dolce & Gabbana dress – but detail-oriented royal watchers were quick to notice her matching accessory, a gorgeous ring thought to be her push present after giving birth to their son, Prince Louis , in April.
On the 36-year-old’s right hand sat an eye-catching yellow citrine ring, perfectly coordinated with her $1,400 designer dress. The mother of three further accessorized with a pair of Asprey London earrings and, of course, her jaw-dropping blue sapphire diamond engagement rind and wedding band on her left hand. Completing the look, Kate carried a beige Dolce & Gabbana handbag and wore a pair of nude suede pumps.
Three weeks after welcoming her third child into the family, Kate attended the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s royal wedding at Windsor Castle , where she first showed off her new bauble. The citrine stone is particularly meaningful as it’s meant to help with manifestation, healing and balancing energy – the perfect post-birth gift for a powerful woman and member of the Royal Family!
The duke is a very generous gift-giver. When Kate gave birth to Princess Charlotte back in 2015, her doting husband presented her will a beautiful pair of green tourmaline, green amethyst and diamond earrings. The set – with an estimated price tag of $5,200 – was custom-made for the duchess by one of her favourite gem designers, Kiki McDonough.
But truly, the best gift of all is a healthy, happy baby – and Prince Louis certainly ticks off both boxes. The Cambridge family recently released a set of heartwarming photos from the baby’s christening , in which Louis shows off his already stellar personality. In a special fifth shot shared the following day, the little one giggles heartily in his mom’s arms. Kate was overheard at the baptism saying that her third child is “very relaxed and peaceful.” Now that’s a gift!
