Princess Eugenie is following in Meghan Markle ’s fashion footsteps – literally! While stepping out to attend the Nelson Mandela Centenary Celebration at Coutts Bank in London, the soon-to-be royal bride slipped into a silk green dress, her go-to M2Malletier bag and a pair of cream, lace-up Aquazzura heels. It won’t take long for royal fans to figure out where they’ve seen these elegant pumps before – the Duchess of Sussex wore them for her official engagement photo call in November 2017 .
The 28-year-old royal – who’s set to wed Jack Brooksbank on Oct. 12 – has been making a name for herself in the world of fashion. Much like the Duchess of Sussex, 36, the daughter of Sarah Ferguson always adds a touch of personal flair to her outfits. A lover of colour, the princess recently debuted one of her best looks yet – a floral, one-shoulder dress by Meghan’s close friend Roland Mouret, which she wore over leather pants and anchored with black Gianvitto Rossi booties for Vogue’s Serpentine Summer Party earlier this season.
But this isn't the first time Eugenie has rocked these heels! She also wore them for Prince Christian of Hanover and Alessandra de Osma's Peruvian wedding day in March this year. She paired the pumps with a lovely green floral dress, a small black handbag and a sweet set of shades to pull the look together.
What royal watchers are wondering now is what Eugenie will choose to wear on her wedding day this fall. While details have been released regarding who will be attending and where the nuptials will take place, it remains to be seen about what the princess’s dress will look like or which designer will create her look. Perhaps she will follow in Meghan’s footsteps again by glamming up a simple tailored gown with a unique neckline, a jaw-dropping tiara and a pair of statement pumps.
Whatever Princess Eugenie decides to wear, she’s sure to dazzle when she says “I do” at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle in a few short months. While nothing has been confirmed, fans of the British Royal Family are placing their bets on Eugenie shining bright in her mom’s York Diamond Tiara , which the Duchess of York wore for her own wedding day to Prince Andrew back in 1986. Much like Prince Harry and Meghan’s wedding day, Eugenie and Jack have also decided to invite members of the public to the lavish affair, making sure everyone gets to take in the moment with them.
