Birthday girl Meghan wows in modern colour-block midi skirt by Canadian brand
By Meaghan Wray
The Duchess of Sussex took some time away from her Cotswolds vacation with Prince Harry to celebrate her birthday and attend the wedding of royal family friend Charlie van Straubenzee to Daisy Jenks. And it's no surprise that she rung in both occasions win style, proving once again that she's as fashionable a wedding guest as she is a bride! In the quaint village of Frensham, Surrey, Meghan was her gregarious self as her husband took on important best man duties for his close pal.
Looking perfectly windblown and sun kissed, the former actress was the picture of modern royalty and, once again, brought Canada into her wardrobe. She stunned in a colour-block pastel midi skirt by Club Monaco and a matching navy blouse. Looking no further than her favoured milliner Philip Treacy, she accessorized the look with a black hat, wide leather belt, SHOPBOP's black Kayu straw clutch and her most-reached-for pair of heels by Aquazzura. She kept her brunette tresses natural beneath her hat – a departure from her chic messy buns and proper chignons as of late.
Harry and Charlie go way back, having first attended Ludgrove Prep School in Berkshire as children. Naturally, a friend of Harry's is a friend of Meghan's, and she looked completely at ease chatting with their mutual friends while arriving at the church to watch the newlyweds exchange vows.
