Kate and Pippa Middleton's best twinning moments

The Duchess of Cambridge and Pippa Middleton are more than just sisters by blood - they're sartorial twins, too, given the wardrobe similarities they've donned throughout the years.
The duo are as close as ever and clearly taking style cues from each other. And with Pippa expecting her first child, she has a few years of maternity inspiration to look to in her sister, Kate. Though their years of borrowing from one another's closets have likely come to an end, it's still fun to see how they continue to influence each other.

Shine on
Kate dressed up a shiny wrap coat with a full skirt for winter in 2008 courtesy of a fedora, scarf, tights and boots, while her sister wore a similar coatdress in 2014 with sleek and simple accessories at a memorial service.

Hats off to the sisters!
Was this a case of sisterly sharing? The furry brown topper Kate paired with a blue coat while on tour in Sweden and Norway in 2018 looks identical to one that her sister styled with yellow outerwear at the Cheltenham Festival in 2013.

Rouged to perfection
The Middletons lent their preppy blazers a playful edge with pinky red denim in 2012, Kate while at an Olympic event and Pippa for a day at the office. The sisters showed off their individual style with accessories.

A case of the blues
For an awards ceremony at the Natural History Museum in 2014, the duchess donned a powder blue gown with a slit and a covered-up bodice. A year later at a fundraising gala, her sister Pippa slipped into a pleated Hugo Boss number in the same hue but with a plunging neckline.

Tartan toppers
Kate kept the cool breezes at bay in Scotland in 2014 wearing a plaid jacket with black tights and boots. Pippa was practically her sister's style twin in 2016, when she wore a very similar coat and matching accessories.

Blushing beauties
One thing the brunette beauties share in common is looking amazing in blush pink! Kate wore a sequinned Jenny Packham design to a 2011 gala dinner in London while Pippa attended the GQ men of the year awards in 2014 wearing an equally shimmery Boss design.

Stylin' in Self-Portrait
Both sisters turned to British label Self-Portrait for sexy, show-stopping look - Kate's for the premiere of A Street Cat Named Bob in 2016 and Pippa to attend Wimbledon in 2017.

Shirt dressing in style
The mother of three made a surprise appearance at a charity polo match in 2018 and, to the delight of thrifty fans, wore a pretty shirt dress form Zara. Pregnant Pippa was out a month later showing off her bump in a similar style that featured long sleeves.

Stripes and solids
Fans delight in seeing the duchess dressed down, like the striped sweater with dark jeans that she sported at a 2017 reception for London Marathon runners from team Head's Together. Pippa wore a similar look while shopping in London in 2012, though she upped the chic factor with black slippers and dark sunnies.

Cream coat dresses
Like all of Kate's children's baptisms, Princess Charlotte's christening in 2015 called for a lovely cream Alexander McQueen ensemble - a coat dress with an a-line skirt and matching hat. Pippa was right behind her sister on Charlotte's big day in a similarly hued long-sleeved number and hat, though her shoes were nude rather than cream.
