Meghan Markle has enjoyed a month away from the spotlight, vacationing with Prince Harry in Scotland, the Cotswolds and even Lake Como with A-list friends George and Amal Clooney, but it was back to business for the duchess on Wednesday (Aug. 29) as she attended a gala performance of Hamilton in London alongside Prince Harry to raise money for Sentebale. Fans of the former actress have surely been in style withdrawal this month, but she did not disappoint as she returned to royal duty in a stunning tuxedo dress by Canadian label Judith & Charles.
The tuxedo-style mini 'Digital' coatdress, which retails for $550, showed off Meghan's long legs, which were made even longer by her Stuart Weitzman black suede TIPPI pumps. She carried a chic box clutch with delicate bar earrings in her lobes and had her makeup done in her typically natural style. The royal wore her brunette locks in a tidy bun with some volume at the crown with sleek tendrils tucked behind her ears. Handsome Prince Harry donned a dapper navy suit and matching skinny tie.
Meghan was last spotted on Aug. 4, her 37th birthday, looking like the ultimate stylish wedding guest. She joined Prince Harry at his close friend Charlie van Straubenzee's nuptials, where the royal was best man. The duchess donned Club Monaco's colour block Shoanah dress, with a sultry pop of lace beneath it's buttoned top, a black Philip Treacy hat and her favourite black Aquazzura Deneuve bow pumps.
A week prior, the Duchess of Sussex showed her style credentials once again while supporting Prince Harry as he competed in the Sentebale Polo Cup on July 26. For this occasion, Meghan slipped into a denim Carolina Herrera midi dress with a wide belt, her beloved bow pumps in a lighter hue and a woven J. Crew clutch, keeping the sun at bay in glamorous Tom Ford sunnies. The couple delighted crowds after Harry's win, when his wife presented the trophy to his teammate Nacho Figueras and treated her hubby to a congratulatory kiss.
Fans will have a few more opportunities to see the Duke and Duchess of Sussex out in the coming week. On Sept. 4 they'll attend the annual WellChild Awards, which always see Prince Harry hamming it up with a sweet group of children. And the couple will be back on the gala circuit next Thursday (Sept. 6) for the Heads Together #100DaystoPeace music evening in London. Of course there are even more exciting outings to look forward to this fall, like Princess Eugenie's royal wedding on Oct. 12, plus the Invictus Games and Meghan's first royal tour later that month. Let the royal wardrobe planning begin!
