As a friend of bride Princess Eugenie and her maid of honour, sister Princess Beatrice, fans expected to see Cara Delevingne in the pews at St George's Chapel on Friday (Oct. 12) - but they didn't expect her to step out wearing a tuxedo and top hat! Arriving with writer Derek Blasberg, the actress and model looked divinely dapper at the affair, which was dominated by dresses and fascinators. "Showing up the lads" she captioned a photo of her arrival on Instagram.
Cara's suit paired a cropped jacket with tails and slim ankle pants featuring a tuxedo stripe, which she wore with a wide cummerbund. Underneath she donned a white shirt and slim grey tie, anchoring the look with Casadei's fierce Blade pumps. The Suicide Squad star topped the ensemble off with the most interesting headpiece of the day: a wool top hat!
As she chewed on a toothpick and held her topper to keep it from blowing away in the wind, the model was the picture of androgynous chic. The 26-year-old wore her usual makeup look, pairing a boldly lined eye with pink lips and full brows. She wore her cropped blond locks blown straight and parted to the side beneath her hat.
Cara was in good company at the royal wedding, which was attended by more than a few famous faces. Actresses Demi Moore and Liv Tyler were on hand for the festivities at Windsor Castle, as were supermodels Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss. Singers in the pews included Robbie Williams, whose daughter Teddy was a bridesmaid, plus Ellie Goulding, James Blunt and Ricky Martin.
