Pink and red, a colour combination that normally clashes, has been all the rage this year at awards shows and on red carpets, and Queen Máxima brought it out in full force on Dec. 4! The Dutch Queen wore a purple midi dress from Claes Iversen's SS 2017 Couture collection which had a black and red print and red floral detailing around the neckline. She added a bright red coat and a pair of matching heels with see-through panels. It's a very festive look!

Matching monarchs!

Queen Máxima of the Netherlands and Queen Mathilde of Belgium broke out their best monochrome ensembles in December 2018 for a very stylish instance of royal twinning – and to prove just how festive a white blouse and black pants can be.

The Dutch royal attended a Christmas music gala in a jumpsuit by her go-to label, Natan, which pairs a wraparound-style white top with wide-leg pants and an oversized velvet bow.

The Belgian queen paired a white wrap blouse with velvet trousers and a wide belt to pose with her family ahead of a Christmas concert.

Queen Maxima's gorgeous velvet dress gave us all the holiday feels!

The Dutch royal donned the perfect plum design, which features billowing sleeves and a bohemian ruffle on the skirt, to host a concert with husband King Willem-Alexander in honour of the visiting President of Cape Verde, Jorge Carlos de Almeida Fonseca and his wife Ligia Dias Fonseca on Dec. 12, 2018.
