The 2019 Golden Globes kicked off awards season in a haze of tulle, sequins and cherry red, but one star's look was decidedly Duchess Meghan-worthy: Amy Adams! The star hit the red carpet in a gorgeous blue gown with a stunning bateau neckline. Despite the sleek fitted skirt, the long-sleeved bodice definitely called to mind the royal bride's custom Givenchy wedding dress.

Amy let her gorgeous custom Calvin Klein gown do the talking with minimal accessories. Though she wasn't clad in one of the Queen's heirloom tiaras, she rocked a spiked gold bracelet and stacked rings with gold floral studs. The Sharp Objects nominee carried a gold box clutch with a Time's Up ribbon.

The newly minted Duchess of Sussex left the world breathless when she stepped out of Her Majesty's vintage Rolls-Royce Phantom IV in the boatneck design by Clare Waight Keller in the ultimate modern princess moment. The former actress's bridal look was crafted from a double bonded silk cady created exclusively for Meghan and featured an off-the-shoulder neckline much like Amy's and a fuller A-line skirt.

Five years earlier, the royal was a star on the long-running legal drama Suits and attended NBC's Golden Globes party wearing a pretty long-sleeved dress. She paired the sparkly bronze number with black Christian Louboutin pumps and a gold Prada clutch.
In addition to winning top honours for her red-carpet look, 44-year-old Amy could take home two statues at the Golden Globes - Best Actress in a Supporting Role in any Motion Picture for Vice as well as Best Performance by an Actress in a Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television for Sharp Objects.
