Editor's Picks: See which Golden Globe looks Hello! staff loved the most

Alison Eastwood, Editor-In-Chief
Alison Brie: Love the contrast between the baby-blue Vera Wang princess dress and the sparkly bra top underneath (something that her Glow character could easily wear). I also love that her husband Dave Franco had to help arrange her wayward train on the red carpet!
Danai Gurira: The Black Panther star is on fire in this sumptuous blood-orange one-shoulder Rodarte gown with oversize bow and flame-like train. Red hot.
Patricia Clarkson: Everything about this Georges Chakra gown works for me: The colour, the fit, the flow and that plunging neckline (not just for the under-40 set!). “This is the first dress I saw and I picked it,” said the 59-year-old Golden Globe winner.

Jameela Jamil: Wearing Monique Lhuillier, the Good Place star was perfect in pink. Bonus points for sharing she rocked a pair of skinny jeans under the ethereal grown, captioning a social media post: "An experienced woman wears jeans under her golden globes gown because it’s forking COLD."
Timothée Chalamet: Honestly, the kid is never boring, proving himself a chameleon both on screen and the red carpet! The nominee for Beautiful Boy pulls off what few could: an all-black ensemble that had social media abuzz over its sparkly harness (designer Louis Vuitton terms it an "embellished bib.")
Gemma Chan: This blue Valentino gown looked stunning on Crazy Rich Asians scene stealer.

Leslie Bibb: Reminding me slightly of Meghan Markle’s glamorous Oscar de la Renta dress that she wore in Australia during her and Harry’s tour, Leslie Bibb’s detailed Schiaparelli gown gave off that enchanted fairytale feel that I always hope to see on a red carpet.
Julia Roberts: At first glance I wasn’t a huge fan of Julia Robert’s Stella McCartney ensemble. But as the night went on, I fell in love with the Homecoming actress’s clever mix of feminine meets masculine – the champagne coloured tulle gave the look that glamorous red-carpet factor, while the black pants made it equally as fierce. As always, she looked absolutely stunning.
Catherine Zeta-Jones: Normally I’m not a fan of these over-the-top types of dresses, but for some reason Catherine Zeta Jones’s Elie Saab wrap dress checked all the boxes for me. The emerald-green colour looked amazing on her, and everything from the fit to the thigh-high slit made her look like a red-carpet queen.

Saoirse Ronan in Gucci, Lupita Nyong'o in Calvin Klein and Lucy Liu in Galia Lahav: I was drawn to all these looks because of the use of colour, texture and shine. I loved Lupita’s feel-good vibrant blue, Saoirse’s metallic dress with crystal embroidery and Lucy’s contrast between soft feminine fabric and bold artistic detailing.

Lady Gaga: Lady Gaga had nothing to be blue about at the Golden Globes. She picked up a trophy in a custom Maison Valentino gown, paying homage to Judy Garland, who wore a similar dress in the 1954 version of A Star Is Born.
Timothée Chalamet: The actor dared to wear something other than a suit, sparkling in a chic “embroidered bib” by Louis Vuitton that lit up Twitter.
Dominique Jackson: The Pose star looked like a goddess in a draped white gown by Marc Bouwer. Simply gorgeous.

Nicole Kidman: In an unexpected wine colour, this shimmery column dress showed off Nicole’s hourglass figure perfectly.
Emmy Rossum: Every red carpet needs a beautiful princess moment, and Emmy brought it in this pink tulle Monique Lhuillier gown – with cheeks, lips and lids to match.
Saiorse Ronan: It was fitting that Sairose was the last to arrive on the red carpet because she shut. it. down in this platinum beaded custom gown by Gucci. She wins.

Olivia Colman: I was as floored by her portrayal of Queen Anne in The Favourite as I was when she stepped onto the red carpet, free of the wigs, full skirts and "badger makeup." The custom Stella McCartney design was the perfect hat trick of elegance (caped sleeves!), edge (mesh underlay!) and glamour (sparkly beading!).
Regina King: Another of the night's big winners, both in style and craft (she took home the supporting actress statue for If Beale Street Could talk), Regina had a va-va-voom moment in this figure-hugging, strapless Alberta Ferretti design. Everything from the liquid look of the sequins and pretty pink hue to her soft waves and bold cat's eye screamed movie star!
Rachel Weisz: Olivia's co-star and fellow nominee looked fresh as a daisy in her black-and-white Celine ensemble just four months after giving birth. The voluminous white ruffles across the off-shoulder bodice had a regal air, giving way to a sleek black skirt, which she balanced perfectly with youthful silver choker and pink lip.

Olivia Colman: Olivia’s incredible demure-yet-sexy gown really took the cake for me. I loved everything from the caped sleeves to the mesh shoulders and décolletage, making an otherwise simple black gown something that turned heads.
Saoirse Ronan: Saorise was ultra-glam in custom Gucci, serving some major old Hollywood vibes with a stunning chainmail material set over a pale pink underlay. I could totally see Marilyn Monroe wearing this silhouette!
Taraji P. Henson: Taraji proved that a dress doesn’t need to be over the top to stand out. Her emerald-green velvet gown was simple yet stunning, the deep plunging V-neckline perfectly showing off her accessories.

Yalitza Aparicio: Roma's Yalitza looked ethereal in a silver Miu Miu embellished gown and matching eyeshadow. I’m all for pretty hair accessories, and the bejewelled headband and the tiny pearl earrings were perfect additions to the dainty look. She looked like a goddess!
Timothée Chalamet: People either love it or hate it, but I thought Timothée's all-black look with a Louis Vuitton bedazzled harness looked fierce on the red carpet. The tailoring of the shirt and pants was impeccable and the outfit is so refreshing to see in a sea of tuxedo-wearing men. Bonus point for bringing his mom as his date!
Gemma Chan: Gemma's petrol blue Valentino Haute Couture gown was breathtaking from both front and back. From the flattering colour and unexpected shorts to the gorgeous bow in the back, the entire outfit was flawless and made me love her even more.
