The Duchess of Cornwall takes a page from Kate and Meghan’s style books

While all eyes have been on the Royal Family’s young duchesses, Kate and Meghan, fans may have missed the Duchess of Cornwall’s recent sartorial savvy! While paying a visit to Jewish Care’s Brenmer Centre on Wednesday (Jan. 23), Camilla stunned in a green ensemble that seems to have taken a page from each of her stylish daughters-in-law’s books.

Of particular note was the elegant handbag that Duchess Camilla was carrying. Eagle eyed royal watchers will quickly recognize the green DeMellier London accessory that Meghan donned for a 2018 visit to Cardiff before her royal wedding to Prince Harry. The ‘Mini Venice’ bag rings in at $515 and comes in a variety of beautiful colours, including purple and blush pink – but just like the pregnant royal, green was the go-to for Camilla!

Last January, Meghan, 37, paired the small tasselled bag with a chic black Stella McCartney coat, trousers by Welsh brand Hieut Denim and a sweet pair of black velvet boots. The bag label’s founder Mireia Llusia-Lindh told HELLO! of the moment: “We are truly honoured that Meghan is wearing one of our bags. She is a fantastic role model to women all over the world and a great addition to the Royal Family.”

Aside from the pretty arm candy, Prince Charles’ wife was also channeling Duchess Kate with her all-green ensemble. Perhaps the 71-year-old was inspired by the mother of three, who donned an entirely green outfit to visit Family Action in Lewisham the previous day. The 37-year-old is also known to be a fan of the skirt suit (remember her recycled purple Oscar de la Renta at the Royal Opera?) which is a style that Camilla favours as well, outfitted with a small brooch and, much like Kate, paired with opaque black tights and heels.
