The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have officially stepped out for their first joint engagement of the year, and Kate looked every inch the style star she is. For a visit to Dundee, Scotland to help open the city's new V&A Museum, the mother of three absolutely dazzled in one of her go-to designers, Alexander McQueen.
The duchess appropriately wore her recycled green-and-blue tartan number by her favourite designer for her and her husband's day out in Dundee. For the windy day, Kate paired the coat dress with a pair of black gloves by Cornelia James and opaque black tights, anchoring the ensemble with her favourite Tod's suede pumps. Of course, she was rocking her signature bouncy brunette waves, keeping her makeup look simple and accessorizing with a pair of drop earrings. She also carried a sweet green handbag by MANU Atelier for the occasion.
The royal, who celebrated her birthday on Jan. 9, has already been a busy bee this year! On Jan. 22, the brunette beauty kept warm in a beautiful long-sleeved design by Beulah London, looking positively regal in the envy-inducing hue. She paired the look with a beautiful crocodile-textured belt, anchoring the ensemble with her go-to olive-green suede pumps and matching envelope clutch. Of course, the mother of three's natural beauty was on full display for the exciting occasion, keeping her brunette locks in her trademark bouncy curls and wearing her signature smoky eye with a pretty peachy lip.
A week earlier, the mental health advocate made a colourful appearance at one of her and Princess Charlotte's favourite places, the Royal Opera House! Sadly, her daughter couldn't be there to enjoy the visit, but Kate likely brought back a few stories from her giggles with principle ballerinas and first-hand look at the costume department. The duchess was the picture of elegance in a purple Oscar de la Renta skirt suit she'd worn before, Rupert Sanderson pumps and a sweet Aspinal of London handbag.
