Duchess Meghan's busy week has kicked off with a beautiful visit to one of her cherished patronages, the National Theatre on Jan. 30. After meeting the theatre's director, Rufus Norris, in secret last year, the art enthusiast has finally made her official visit – and she was an absolute vision in cream in a special pair of recycled pumps!
Meghan was the picture of elegance while arriving at the theatre, dazzling in head-to-toe cream. She paired a V-neck Brandon Maxwell dress with a blazer of the same hue by the American designer, accessorizing with a small Carolina Herrera 'Insignia' clutch and a simple silver ring on her her pointer finger, and wearing her brunette locks in a chic bun. Many may recognize the anchor of her outfit to be the Aquazzura cross-cross suede pumps she wore for her official engagement announcement on Nov. 27, 2017. As for her makeup look, the pregnant royal kept it simple with bronzed and glowing cheeks, a subtle smoky eye and a swipe of pink across her lips.
Her art-inspired visit comes at the heels of her glitzy trip to see Cirque du Soleil with her husband on Jan. 16. The pregnant duchess was a vision at the glitzy affair in a $7,400 design by the French designer, a good friend who has dressed her on many occasions. The navy boatneck "Sarandon" dress, with its long sleeves and knee-high slit, perfectly hugged Meghan's growing baby bump as she met Cirque officials and made her way into Royal Albert Hall.
She carried a Givenchy clutch, wore a bracelet that belonged to Princess Diana and anchored the look with what appear to be Stuart Weitzman's black Nudist sandals. The royal wore her shiny locks in a sleek bun and amped up her makeup look from earlier with a bold berry lip. Prince Harry looked perfectly dapper by her side in a navy suit.
As a new member of 'the firm,' Meghan is wasting no time introducing the organizations that she's chosen to champion as patron – and on a visit to Mayhew earlier today, the animal lover definitely wore her heart on her H&M sleeve! Looking perfectly chic in monochromatic cream, the pregnant royal showed off her connection to her canine companions as she chatted with staff and volunteers and lapped up the cuddles with some canine beneficiaries.
The Duchess of Sussex perfectly mixed high and low pieces to create the ultimate maternity look. She paired H&M's bump-hugging Mama Fine-Knit Dress, which retails for $40, with an elegant cashmere Emporio Armani coat, Manolo Blahnik 'Allura 105' slingbacks and her Stella McCartney Falabella Reversible tote, which is made from vegan leather.
The royal's pregnancy hasn't slowed her down one bit as she launched back into royal duties following the holiday season, and she's left fans in a fashionable frenzy every step of the way. Last week Meghan paired a gorgeous Oscar de la Renta swing coat with a simple Hatch maternity t-shirt dress and cow-print pumps before showing her Canadian love on Monday (Jan. 14) in a red SENTALER coat and purple Babaton by Aritzia dress!
