Prince Harry and Meghan didn’t let the cold bother them during their visit to Bristol on Friday (Feb. 1)! But while greeting a gaggle of cute kids during a walkabout outside of the Bristol Old Vic theatre, the Duchess of Sussex nearly suffered a wardrobe mishap...
As the 37-year-old knelt down to chat with the little ones, the hem of her stunning William Vintage coat nearly fell in a puddle. Luckily, her quick-thinking assistant private secretary Amy Pickerill stepped in before it could get wet. Crisis averted!
After chatting with their well-wishers (Meghan revealed what she's been craving most lately!), the two enjoyed an informative tour of the historical theatre before heading off to visit Empire Fighting Chance, a local boxing gym that helps build confidence in local youth.
As always, many royal fans were eagerly awaiting the first sight of one of their favourite royal couples – and it’s sure been a busy week for the entire family! Duchess Meghan had back-to-back appearances in London – to The National Theatre and then the University of London – and Prince Harry stepped out earlier in the week for a Commonwealth youth discussion at Lancaster House, where he opened up about being a future dad.
And their lives aren't about to slow down anytime soon. It was also revealed this week that the Sussexes will move into their new home of Frogmore Cottage just in time for the arrival of their first child. Chris Ship, ITV's royal editor, shared the exciting news that the pair will head to their newly-renovated home in March. As Meghan recently said that their first bundle of joy is due "April or May," this timing makes perfect sense for their growing clan.
No other details were revealed, but it's known that the cottage has been undergoing some big renovations – including having an CA$86,000 green energy unit installed, creating an eco-friendly nursery (fit with vegan paint!) and reportedly a separate area for Meghan's mom, Doria Ragland, to live in.
