Pregnant Meghan wows in custom Dior caftan for glitzy Morocco reception

By Meaghan Wray

After keeping things casual during the day on Feb. 24, mom-to-be Meghan amped up the glam for a glitzy reception in Morocco's capital city of Rabat! The Duke and Duchess of Sussex spent the day exploring a mountainous region of the North African country, followed by an evening with the British Ambassador, Thomas Reilly – and Meghan's custom Dior outfit certainly didn't disappoint.

Meghan dressed her blossoming baby bump in a caftan designed just for her by the French fashion house. The flowing cream-hued material – decorated with jewels on the sleeves – looked beautiful on the glowing duchess, who accessorized with a small beige clutch and anchored her elegant ensemble with a pair of silver pumps.

Not straying far from the look she loves, the 37-year-old let her natural beauty shine through with a bronzed cheek, a highlighted cheekbone and a swipe of pink on her lips. She fashioned her hair in a sleek bun, which perfectly showed off her stunning earrings, which appear to be her Birks Snowstorm Diamond Earrings (CA$12,000.)

Earlier that day, Harry and Meghan traveled to Asni, a mountainous region in Morocco, to visit with school kids at "Education for All" boarding house and Lycée Qualifiant Grand Atlas. Taking time to bond with school kids (and even get a henna tattoo!), Meghan looked comfy and chic in her Alice + Olivia blazer, HATCH skinny jeans and her favourite pair of flat shoes – her Birdies Blackbird slippers. As for accessories, the pregnant royal chose Boh Runga Discologo gold earrings and a grey frayed-edge scarf from Aritzia (not pictured). She pulled the whole look together with a simple black maternity t-shirt.

For their first evening in the warm country, Meghan was radiant in a red bespoke Valentino dress, designed based on a 2013 vintage-inspired collection by the fashion house. The pregnant duchess fashioned her raven locks in a chic and sleek bun, accessorizing her ensemble with a pair of beige gloves and a matching clutch, VRing Smooth Calfskin Crossbody Bag in pink by Valentino. She anchored the look with a bespoke pair of Rockstud pumps by the label, with the studs removed.
