Duchess Kate dazzles in Carolina Herrera before changing into athleisure

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge surprised royal watchers worldwide with a surprise outing in Belfast on Feb. 27 – and both of Kate's outfits certainly didn't disappoint! Looking radiant in red, the mom-to-three greeted well-wishers in the Irish city, before switching into comfier athleticwear to kick around a soccer ball with some kids (and Prince William!) at the Irish Football Club.

Duchess Kate looked no further than one of of Duchess Meghan's favourite designers (and a designer she, too, wears often!), Carolina Herrera. She paired the double-breasted coat dress with her chic LK Bennett lace-up booties, along with a long-sleeved black top underneath and a pair of slim black trousers.
As always, Kate sported her trademark bouncy waves, keeping her makeup fresh and natural with a bit of blush on her cheeks, a simple lined eye and a bold brow. She showed off her winning smile, keeping her hair tucked behind her ears to show off one of her favourite pairs of earrings – her pair of Kiki McDonough Lauren Leaf earrings.

After a quick outfit change, the 37-year-old was ready for some fun! Appearing as though she kept on the same black pants, Kate traded in her black shirt for a smart v-neck sweater, a pair of navy blue sneakers and a matching puffer jacket. She pulled her brunette locks back into a pony tail before kicking the ball around at the Irish Football Association.
