The Duchess of Cambridge is on a sartorial roll! On Tuesday (March 5), Kate arrived – alongside Prince William, and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex – at Buckingham Palace to mark Prince Charles's 50th anniversary as the Prince of Wales. And she looked no further than one of her favourite designers, Alexander McQueen, for her ensemble.
The 37-year-old stunned in a mint green dress by the designer. The lightweight gown was on-point for the spring-life weather London is experiencing, and made the 37-year-old appear as though she was floating on air as she greeted guests. She anchored her look with a pair of cream pumps and a matching mint clutch to carry the essentials. Her beauty look was similarly sophisticated yet simple, with her hair loose and bouncy and her makeup lightweight and flawless.
The ensemble was the latest in a string of pretty and pastel looks the duchess has worn in the past two week. On Feb. 28, she wowed onlookers in front of Ballymena's Braid Arts Centre in a new cornflower blue Mulberry coat. The stunning design featured a short cape, an oversized belt and large buttons. She complemented the look with a pair of navy Rupert Sanderson pumps and a matching Jimmy Choo clutch. She kept her makeup simple, opting for subtle blush and nude lips, and let her long brown locks drape over her shoulders. Underneath her coat was another new item – a navy blue Jenny Packham dress, fixed with a blue velvet ribbon around her small waist.
While touring Northern Ireland with Prince William, she also dazzled in a head-turning sparkly sea foam green Missoni dress. She paired the ensemble with a pink Mulberry clutch, anchoring the look with one of her favourite pairs of pumps – her nude Gianvito Rossi's. She looked refreshed with loose locks and a lightly bronzed cheek and smokey eye.
