The Duchess of Sussex stepped out in London to celebrate a very important day to her – International Women's Day! Along with a group of very inspiring women and supported by the Queen's Commonwealth Trust, the mom-to-be took to the panel stage to chat about the importance of women's empowerment. And, of course, Meghan didn't forget her fashion savvy!
The 37-year-old wowed in a sweet mod mini dress from affordable British brand REISS. She paired the black-and-white number with a blazer by Alexander McQueen (one of Duchess Kate's favourite designers!), anchoring the look with her black suede Manolo Blahnik BB pumps and her favourite Stella McCartney clutch – the Shaggy Deer Faux Leather Crossbody. Of particular note was Meghan's brooch, fixed with the symbol for the Queen's Commonwealth Trust.
Meghan's beauty look stayed true to the style she loves. Her lightly bronzed cheeks, highlighted cheekbones and subtle swipe of pink on her lips beautifully showed off her natural beauty. She swept her raven locks up in a messy bun, leaving a few strands out to frame her face.
This is one of Meghan's two back-to-back appearances that centred on empowerment this week. On March 6, the duchess surprised her fans worldwide with an unannounced appearance alongside Prince Harry at WE Day in London. Taking to the stage to an eruption of cheers, she look chic as ever in black Rag & Bone maternity jeans, a black shirt and a chic blazer. She anchored the look with the same pair of Manolos, accessorizing with her Pippa Small bangles and a special gift from one of her baby shower goers – her gold "mummy" necklace by Jennifer Meyer.
