The Duchess of Sussex took a walk down memory lane for Commonwealth Day on March 11! The honourary Canadian (she lived in Toronto for seven years while filming Suits!) paid a visit to Canada House with her husband, Prince Harry, and wore celebrated Canadian designer Erdem for her look du jour.
Duchess Meghan beautifully wrapped her baby bump in a deep green off-the-runway coat by the Turkish-Canadian designer. Fixed with black floral appliqué (known as "Doria beaded rose embroidery"), the stunning piece was matched by an equally gorgeous matching knee-length dress underneath. The pregnant royal – who's expecting her first child around the end of April – accessorized with her Givenchy satin clutch, Birks opal earrings and a dangling bracelet by Turkish jewellery brand Kismet by Milka. Anchoring her look was her favourite pair of Aquazzura Deneuve pumps, which she also owns in a pretty blush pink colour.
Fans of the duchess were likely overjoyed to see her fun twist on her trademark messy bun! Leaving loose, wavy strands out to frame her face, Meghan had her up 'do fixed to the side – an easy switch to jazz up her classic hairstyle! As for makeup, the 37-year-old kept things simple with a swipe of peach-pink lipstick, a subtly lined eye and a bit of blush to add some colour to her pregnancy, post-Moroccan sun glow.
Meghan's day out with Harry follows an inspiring March 8 celebrating International Women's Day. She dazzled in a mod mini dress by affordable brand REISS, and wore a blazer by Alexander McQueen. Meghan completed the look with her black suede Manolo Blahnik BB pumps and her go-to Stella McCartney clutch – the Shaggy Deer Faux Leather Crossbody. That day, she was joined by six other inspiring women for a panel discussing women's empowerment, the importance of education and, of course, future Baby Sussex.
