Royal watchers were eagerly anticipating their next Duchess Meghan sighting, and of course it was in honour of Independence Day (July 4)! The Duchess of Sussex stepped out on July 4 to cheer on her BFF, tennis pro Serena Williams, at Wimbledon!
The 37-year-old – who welcomed her baby boy Archie Harrison on May 6 – stepped out with two college friends to watch Serena play against Slovenia’s Kaja Juvan. Meghan looked chic and casual in a pinstripe blazer by L'Agence, a Lavender Hill scoop neck T-shirt, a Madewell panama hat and blue skinny jeans. To shield her eyes from the sunlight, she wore her Finlay and Co. “Henrietta” sunnies.
But of particular notice was a dainty necklace she wore. On close inspection, a tiny “A” pendant can be made out – obviously in honour of her first child. She paired the jewellery with Pippa Small “Nosheen” Stud Earrings to round out her incredible outfit.
Meghan appeared to be having the best time with her old classmates from Northwestern University. The new mom was joined by her Genevieve Hillis, who wore a green printed dress, and Lindsay Roth, who chose a blue lace number. Genevieve sat behind Meghan’s mom, Doria Ragland, at the duchess’s incredible royal wedding at St. George’s Chapel in 2018.
The Suits alum was her typical casual self, and her demeanour and outfit definitely harkened back to one of her first times spotted in the Wimbledon stands. She wore an all-white outfit combined with similar sunglasses and panama hat for her tennis championship debut in 2016 – the same year she fell in love with Prince Harry.
Just last year, Duchess Meghan joined Duchess Kate at Wimbledon for their first-ever outing together without their husbands. She donned a blue-and-white striped Ralph Lauren button-up with white wide-legged pants by the same designer.
