They both put their best fashion feet forward for their day out in the sun. Meghan turned heads in a khaki shirt dress by Lisa Marie Fernandez, and accessorized with square aviator sunglasses by Givenchy. Kate, on the other hand, chose to go with a pop of colour, pairing her pink patterned L.K. Bennett dress with a red Mulberry cross-body bag and her favourite Castañer espadrilles.
The Duchess of Sussex carried baby Archie Harrison in her arms, while her sister-in-law was also surrounded by her three children – Prince George, 5, Princess Charlotte, 4, and one-year-old Prince Louis. It promised to be an exciting day as they gathered in Wokingham, Surrey to watch dads Prince William and Prince Harry compete at the King Power Royal Charity Polo Day. It was held in honour of the lake Leicester City owner Khun Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, who tragically passed away in a helicopter crash last fall.
New mom Meghan also attended the polo in July last year to watch Harry play in the Sentebale Polo Cup at the Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club. She dazzled in a navy dress by Carolina Herrera, anchoring the ensemble with nude Aquazzura pumps and a simple pair of stylish sunglasses.
Kate is a staple on the sidelines, and attended the Maserati Royal Charity Polo Trophy in June 2018, just a few months after giving birth to Louis. She left the newborn at home, but brought George and Charlotte along to enjoy the fun day. The mom of three wore a blue-and-white Zara dress and Russell & Bromley espadrille wedges (which she impressed all by running in!).
