We didn’t expect to see Duchess Kate out this week, but she surprised everyone when she showed up for a previously unannounced engagement at the Sunshine House Children and Young People’s Health and Development Centre in London!
The mom of three beamed as she took in a day with parents and children who have gone through the Southwark Family Nurse Partnership, and showcased some of her incredible style in the process. She chose a black-and-white polka-dot shirt by Equipment, wide-legged black trousers and black Gianvito Rossi pumps for the event. She wore her hair down, showcasing the recent chestnut highlights she’s had done, and kept her make up simple.
If you want Kate’s blouse, it’s very easy to get it! It's available through Net-a-Porter and will run you about US$140.
The Family Nurse Partnership is an initiative that connects new mothers aged 24 and younger with a nurse that follows them through the early stages of their pregnancy until their child turns two. Its goal is to improve pregnancy and children’s health from an early age, and Kate met with those who’ve benefitted from the program, along with staff.
Kate is passionate about early childhood development, and made the visit to continue her research as part of her Early Years sector, Kensington Palace said. The Duchess of Cambridge recently helped with a study on early childhood development that examined mental health.
