Outfit change! Duchess Kate quickly swapped looks while on the way from Lahore to Islamabad, stepping out to the Army Canine Centre in an elegant black-and-white look that was a great way to cap off her whirlwind tour of Pakistan with Prince William.
Kate was wearing the white trousers she had on when getting on the plane in Lahore earlier in the day, but had switched into a black blazer coat by Beulah London. She had swapped her nude heels for black Russell & Bromley flats, and was also sporting a white lace scarf, which she wore over one of her shoulders.
While leaving Lahore, Kate had worn the same pants, but topped her outfit off with a gorgeous white kurta from Elan, which was detailed with navy patterns. She wore nude J. Crew heels and was carrying a black Smythson carryall.
The switch to flats was a good idea, since Kate and William spent their final engagement of the tour playing with adorable dogs and puppies at the Army Canine Centre, which is supported by the UK army. The sweet pups and dogs were very keen to meet the couple, who walked a rambunctious pair of golden Labrador puppies named Sky and Salto before meeting a black Labrador and another golden lab, along with a Belgian Malinois named Tutu who got right up on his hind legs to say hi to Kate.
The couple had been due to head to Islamabad from Lahore the day before, but their flight ran into some unexpected difficulties due to a massive electrical storm outside the capital, prompting the pilot to abort two landings before turning around and heading back to their point of origin.
The white-knuckle flight prompted William to make a few jokes to calm members of the press corps down. Laughing, he told the media he was annoyed because the turbulence caused him to spilled his drink and then also joked it had been him flying, hence the bumpiness. Too funny!
