Melania Trump lights up the NATO reception in a yellow Valentino cape dress

Melania Trump brought some sunshine to the NATO reception at Buckingham Palace on Dec. 3 in the form of a cheerful yellow cape.

The canary yellow Valentino outfit protected her from the chilly London winds while making a head-turning statement. She added even more colour to her ensemble with magenta Christian Louboutin "So Kate" pointed-toe pumps and a coordinating long-sleeved underlayer. It was a look that was not to be missed!

The reception was hosted by the Queen, and it marked 70 years of the NATO alliance. The couple joined other world heads of states including Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and senior members of the British Royal Family, including Prince Charles, Duchess Camilla and Duchess Kate.

It has been a colourful day for Melania. After touching down in the UK, she stepped off Air Force One at London Stansted Airport in a bright red coat by Calvin Klein. She finished off the look with a black dress and heels plus her signature blowdry.
