Model Cara Delevingne has landed herself yet another campaign – she is the new face of Saint Laurent. The blonde beauty follows in the footsteps of Claudia Schiffer, Jessica Chastain and Marilyn Manson to front advertisements for the brand. The images show Cara, complete with heavy eyeliner and tousled hair, striking her famous poses in biker boots and grungy clothing by the label. She stars alongside musician Cole Smith of band DIIV.

The series of images were taken by YSL creative director Hedi Slimane, and it is his first autumn/winter campaign since joining the brand in March of last year. It is Cara's first appearance in the Saint Laurent mainline campaign, but it's not her debut for the house – she is currently the face of YSL Beauty's Baby Doll mascara. At the beginning of the year, Cara tweeted a hint that she would become the new face of Yves Saint Laurent beauty.

"Just finished my last day shooting @ysl cosmetics! Feeling like a baby doll!" wrote the model in the cryptic message. Five months later, a teaser video of Cara's campaign emerged ahead of the launch in mid-May. The London-born model played out a sophisticated scene in which she advertises YSL's newest Baby Doll make-up collection, featuring a volumising mascara that carries the motto "more than a mascara, an attitude." The teaser shows Cara, 20, bringing a youthful touch to the brand's Baby Doll range as she playfully gets ready for a party while plumping up her eyelashes with the brand new wand. Previous faces of the YSL beauty include Jessica Chastain and British actress Emily Blunt, who also embody the brand's sophisticated style.

Set up with black and white shots interposed with more vibrant colour-filled scenes in the advert, Cara Delevingne certainly gives the actresses a run for their money as she poses to perfection in the super glamorous new video. The blonde beauty wears her hair in several ways throughout the short shoot. Cara's hairstyles change from being tied into a chic, low ponytail which suits the lace LBD she wears at the beginning of the video to a towering, sophisticated quiff as the model changes into a fitted black suit. While Cara plays out these personalities, the one thing that remains static is the reliability of the mascara. Also wearing a fuchsia pink lipstick that matches the inscription on the Baby Doll mascara, Cara carries of YSL's latest look to perfection.
