Celebrities who have modelled for designer brands

Ciara has long been admired for her trendsetting style, and now her status as a fashion icon has been cemented as she fronts the latest campaign for Roberto Cavalli. The singer, 29, joins the ranks of Gisele Bündchen, Georgia May Jagger and Rita Ora, all of whom have been ambassadors for the Italian label.

Hollywood heart-throb Eddie Redmayne may have conquered the world of acting with his critically-acclaimed performances, but the 33-year-old seems to have turned his attention to the world of fashion. The British star has been named as the new brand ambassador for luxury watchmakers OMEGA, following in the footsteps of fellow actors like Nicole Kidman.

Joan Didion for Céline
Leave it to luxury French fashion house Céline to cast 80-year-old writer Joan Didion in their Spring 2015 ad campaign. The first image released, showing the The Year of Magical Thinking author posing with red lips pursed while donning a black turtleneck and the black, oversized sunglasses that popularized the label.

Jennifer Connelly for Louis Vuitton
The 44-year-old actress is seen posing against raw Miami backdrops with a variety of the design house’s latest purses in a campaign shot by famed photographer Bruce Weber in black and white. Jennifer has also modelled for Balenciaga.

Justin Bieber for Calvin Klein
The 20-year-old pop sensation has come a long way from the skinny 'tween who first burst onto the scene. In his campaign for Calvin Klein, Justin sheds everything but his Calvins, calling to mind Mark Wahlberg in the '90s, and cozies up to model Lara Stone.

Julianne Moore for Bulgari
The images of this 54-year-old star posing with two lion cubs in recent spots for this Italian accessories giant took our breath away. The adverts were decidedly risqué without being offensively sexy. The redhead remains a fixture of the brand.

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian for Balmain
There's no better pair to put at the centre of an ad campaign called Army of Lovers than this famed duo. Each spot features the husband-wife duo cozying up to one another in the brand's sleek, urban warrior-worthy wares.

Romeo Beckham for Burberry
It looks like this 12-year-old is all grown up and set to follow in the high fashion footsteps of his parents, Victoria and David. This ad campaign saw the pre-teen strolling through London's streets decked out in the brand's iconic patterns and prints.

Kate Moss for Stella McCartney
Kate and Stella have been friends for years, so it's no surprise that the duo have worked together on several ad campaigns. Why choose Kate? Stella has said, "Kate epitomizes the Stella McCartney woman and I wanted to capture her dreams and the moments we have shared over the years. I wanted to escape into something surreal this season and fashion should make us dream, sometimes."

Julia Roberts for Givenchy
We recently told you about the new ad campaigns for Givenchy featuring the original Pretty Woman. The pictures are stunning and showcase the 47-year-old in a way we haven't seen: without makeup and sporting decidedly boyish attire. The spots are supremely sexy.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley for Prabal Gurung
Oh to be able to work with the likes of Prabal. The 27-year-old Victoria's Secret star announced she was the face of the designer's winter clothing collection on Instagram. “So thrilled to be the face of @prabalgurung A/W ’14 campaign."

Nicole Kidman for Jimmy Choo
Never before have we coveted a pair Choos quite as much as we did upon seeing these smoldering spots featuring the Australian actress. To get into the mood for the shoot, the star apparently listened to "a lot of great rock music."

Gisele Bündchen for Balenciaga
Nothing ever looks bad on this Brazilian-born supermodel, including the fake buzz cut she sported for the beloved French fashion house back in Autumn/Winter 2014.

Blake Lively for Chanel Mademoiselle
When it was announced that Karl Lagerfeld had chosen the new mom to pose for Chanel Mademoiselle, many people suggested Blake wasn't sophisticated enough to pull off the fashion house's frocks. Naysayers were quickly silenced upon seeing her sexy and alluring ads.

Mila Kunis for Gemfields
It's rare for celebrities to pose in an ad campaign without makeup, but that's exactly what the new mom and 31-year-old actress did for this luxury supplier of coloured gemstones. "I didn't have any makeup on; I didn't have my hair blow-dried, so I felt a little bare. But he made me feel the most beautiful I have ever felt, and he was able to capture a very honest moment,” Mila told 'Glamour'.

Joni Mitchell for Saint Laurent
In the black and white ads the Alberta-born singer-songwriter can be seen posing with and playing her guitar. Her trademark blond locks flow loosely over her shoulders, which are covered by a '60s-esque tunic. Joni's ensemble is capped off with a classic, oversized black Saint Laurent fedora and a leather cape.

Cher is the latest in a line of seasoned power-women to front campaigns - and show young models like Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid how it's done. The 69-year-old has been named the new face of Marc Jacobs, looking as spectacular as ever in ads for the fashion house's fall collection.
