All the times Meghan Markle and Queen Letizia of Spain have twinned

We've all got that one friend who inspires us with their outfits, and we think that's certainly the case with these two royal ladies. Duchess Meghan and Spain's Queen Letizia are both regarded as the most stylish regal ladies, but we've noticed that they've twinned on plenty of occasions. 

Hell for leather 

When Duchess Meghan stepped out in a BOSS red leather skirt for an outing in Windsor, we knew we'd seen it before - the day before, in fact. The Spanish monarch stepped out the previous day wearing the vibrant red leather skirt which she teamed with a white blouse with voluminous sleeves and red accessories. The pair certainly have a flair for fashion and know how to dress for the new season. Denim delights 

It was Letizia's turn to be inspired by our Duchess of Sussex. The 47-year-old Spanish Queen wore a Carolina Herrera dress which looked nearly identical to the one Meghan wore for her first-ever visit to the polo in 2018. The indigo blue CH Carolina Herrera denim shirt dress cost £640 and was from the designer's SS19 range. 

Baby blues 

We reckon Letizia's baby blue shirt dress she wore on an official visit to Mozambique is pretty similar to Meghan's Veronica Beard number from her trip to Tonga in 2018, don't you think? Meghan loves this dress she wore it the following year on her visit to South Africa in 2019. 

Belt it up! 

The pair are also both fans of belted coats. Meghan has worn this style in white, black and beige. Letizia also owns black and cream versions, as well as a deep red style – which, like Meghan, she teamed with pointed knee-high boots.

Terrific in tuxedo dresses

We all know Meghan loves her tuxedo dresses and her Manolo heels. And apparently, so does Letizia. 

Elegant and simple evening wear

Another look we've come to expect from Meghan is a preference for simple, chic cuts in dark neutral colours, such as her trademark black trousers – which she wore while attending her first red carpet event with Prince Harry

And look at the dresses. We're obsessed with Meghan's Jackie O-inspired midi dress by Halo that she sported during a Women's Empowerment dinner. And, surprise surprise, Letizia is also a fan of this minimal style too. She owns a dress very similar to Meghan's.

Va-voom in red 

Royals love their red dresses, and both Letizia and Meghan have stepped out in vibrant red frocks.

White shirts for evening wear 

Not many people can pull off a white shirt for after hours, but both Meghan and Letizia have tucked in a white blouse into a long column skirt for evening events.
