The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) may be a hotbed of highly anticipated films, but it's also a breeding ground for some of the year's best parties. Just ask rumoured couple Tom Hiddleston and Elizabeth Olsen, who popped up at a handful of events over the weekend.
From the annual Artists for Peace and Justice soiree, where Arcade Fire frontman Win Butler gave an impromptu performance to the well-heeled crowd, to EW's star-studded Must List shindig, which counted Sandra Bullock, Julianne Moore, Emily Blunt and Kate Mara among its attendees, it was clear to see that the opening weekend of TIFF makes for the best celebrity-gazing of the festival.
The Hello! Canada House was in fine form, opening the doors of the Storys building both Saturday and Sunday to fête Into The Forest star Evan Rachel Wood and Five Nights In Maine leads David Oyelowo and Rosie Perez (this following our many star encounters snapping famous faces in our portrait studio at the Producers Ball!) We teamed up with Metro to bring the stars wholesome nibbles at our fresh bowl bar - and we spotted David creating his own custom snack!
And we can't forget the stunning dinners! Holt Renfrew pulled out all the stops to toast A Danish Girl and stars Eddie Redmayne (with wife Hannah Bagshawe) and Alicia Vikander, plus director Tom Hooper. A stunning tented affair with a tropical vibe celebrated Deepa Mehta's Beeba Boys, which explores B.C.'s culture of Sikh gangsters.
