Happy news for Kate Winslet and her husband Ned RocknRoll — they are expecting their first child together. A spokesman for the star has confirmed the news, saying the couple are "delighted".
The new arrival, Kate's third child, is due at the end of the year.
The Revolutionary Road actress, 37, is already a mother to daughter Mia, 12, and son Joe, nine, from her previous marriages.
Mia's father is Jim Threapleton, who Kate was married to from 1998 until 2001. She met her son's father, director Sam Mendes in 2001, and the couple tied the knot in 2003, welcoming Joe together later that same year.
Kate and Sam announced their separation in 2010, and were divorced shortly afterwards.
While on holiday on Necker Island in 2011, Kate met Richard Branson's nephew Ned — who was born Ned Abel Smith before legally changing his name.
Oscar-winner Kate and Ned, 34, tied the knot in a secret ceremony in December, a year after they started dating.
Kate has made no secret of her desire to have more children. Speaking to InStyle magazine in 2006, she said, "I'm hoping to have more children.
"I don't know whether one of two. Oh god, I would love to have more."
