Camera Call: Birks Diamond Tribute to the Year's
Women in Film
This glittery, invite-only event honours 10
Canadian women in film who have made outstanding directing or acting
contributions this year at TIFF. The red carpet rolls out from 4 pm to 5:15 pm
at the Maison Birks on Bloor St. West.
Fashion Meets Film Party
It’s Alll Style To Me hosts a swanky, rooftop
fiesta for TIFF fashionistas. With music by Dirty Dale and a strict cocktail-party
dress code, the most fabulous part about this shindig may actually be that
there’s no cover charge... It kicks off at the Thompson Hotel at 10 pm (and
promises to rage on until 4 am!).
